These might seem odd, but you will soon be wondering what you ever did without these silicone food ties / ropes. Use them in place of standard kitchen string as a reusable way of tying meat joints such as rolled belly pork and baking stuffed fish. It's also fab for tying your bouquet garni and securing round the pot handle - makes it easy to fish back out. If you are anything like me, you'll reuse the muslin squares too !
These are probably the smallest and handiest thing you are likely to have in your kitchen - they certainely are in mine. Makes a nice little stocking filler or gift too.

All our siliconehas a safe and tested temperature working range of -40deg C to + 230deg C (that's446 deg F). It's suitable for all types of oven but MUST NOT be used ondirect flame - so no good for use on the barbeque.
Unlike kitchen string,the silicone food strings are easily removed with just two fingers. Searching for it in the crackling just doesn't happen and there is no requirement for either a pair of scissors or a sharp knife.... It's there - easily seen and so, so easy to remove.
These are available in sets of four and in four colours - red, pink, blue and green. If you really cannot make your mind up - have a multi-coloured set !
