This is a 150mm / 6" approx brand new halogen heating element bulb which are 10mm thick. They are a replacement part to fit Sarah-Jane's Halogen Ovens.

Our ovens are 12 > 17 litre capacity and 1200 > 1400W. They should also fit many other brands of halogen ovens. However, diameter of these replacement elements can vary between brands - so DO check the size first.

These parts should only be fitted by qualified persons. As halogen bulbs should not be handled and are so fragile being glass - no returns are accepted on these items.... sorry. Every bulb is brand new and has been checked and tested before despatch. Extreme care is taken during packaging.

Replacing experience, 14 Aug 2010

A couple of days ago the heating element in my JML oven broke with a loud "pop". Went on-line and was happy to find siliconemolds.com had replacements at a very decent price. I checked the diameter and Wattage of the heating element in my oven, just to make sure it would work in my oven. The original element lasted about one year, using it almost every single day of the week. Because of the superb price of the replacement I immediately ordered two. Replacing it was quite easy but you do need some technical knowledge or need to have this done by a professional. It's not as simple as replacing a lightbulb. I found the replacement element works just as well or maybe even better than the original (it's 100 Watts heavier than the original that was in my oven). Replacing the element also gave me a chance to clean the oven in places you normally can't reach (using an oven cleaner). Excellent value for money and shipped lightening fast!
